Things to do at camp
Fish
There’s a dock at the camp and a boat launch nearby. Lake Erie is stocked with about 13,000 rainbow trout annually, mingling with the resident yellow perch and largemouth bass.
Paddle
Lake Erie is ideal for a leisurely paddle with your canoe, kayak, or paddle board.
Climb
Mount Erie and its many climbing routes are right across the way.
Through-hiking
We are right off the Pacific Northwest National Scenic Trail, providing the perfect respite for weary backpackers.

Hike or Ride
Lake Erie Campground is in the heart of Anacortes Community Forest Lands with over 50 miles of multiple use trails and several other lakes. All trails are open to hikers, bicycles, horses, and 2-wheeled motorcycles (in limited areas and at limited times).
Deception Pass
The popular Deception Pass State Park with its breathtaking views is just a stone’s throw away, including Rosario Beach and Bowman Bay for all your North Puget Sound adventures.
